Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled Maintenance

At Adaptalift we follow a set servicing schedule based on individual unit usage or time. We highly recommend servicing units every 500 hours of operation or at 6-month intervals of time elapsed whichever comes first.

Standard service intervals are based on manufacturer recommendations.

At major service intervals 1,000 hours (12 Months), 2,000 hours (2 Years) and 4,000 hours (4 years) services become progressively more comprehensive to ensure reliability and machine safety.

Comprehensive services include in-depth inspections and replacement of critical parts that are fundamental to the operation of a unit.

Did you know?

  • We do not recommend you leave a battery electric, or IC forklifts sit for an extended period of time unused as this can shorten the life of batteries.
  • Having a documented service history of regular maintenance may support any warranty claims, not maintaining your forklift correctly may void warranty cover.

Please note:

  • Maintenance requests are scheduled approximately 2 weeks in advance to ensure enough time for the technician to obtain required parts, whilst giving customers ample notice to make any necessary arrangements to ensure equipment is made available when required. This is to minimise rescheduling and allows the ability for customers to suggest any changes to the booking if required.
  • Servicing only. Any faults found will be recorded for further action. That action being internal further work or quoted works.
  • Operators are to complete daily checks as per the operator’s manual this can lead to early detection of potential faults that can be rectified promptly when notified to avoid excessive downtime in the future. If you don’t schedule your machines maintenance, it will schedule it for you!
  • We can send equipment owners scheduled maintenance reminders and completed job cards once unit maintenance has been completed.
